Organization Overview
EGI Battery is a U.S.-based lithium-ion cell company headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, supplying high-performance pouch battery cells for UAS, eAviation, and robotics programs across commercial, defense, agricultural, and public safety markets. We work directly with OEMs and pack integrators to select, qualify, and supply the right cell for each platform, in standard formats sized for Group 1 and Group 2 aircraft, with the chemistry configured to the mission profile.
We are building domestic cell manufacturing at our Ann Arbor plant, with fill and formation beginning in Q4 2026 and full cell assembly in 2027. That capability is paired with a qualified supplier base, so each program can be matched to the sourcing path, volume, and schedule it requires, and customers can field platforms today while domestic capacity comes online.
